I've only had this mat for about a week, so I'm giving it 5 stars for now, but I'm leaving this review open to be edited depending on how it holds up long term.
Coming from the Razer Goliathus, this is a clear upgrade. The continuous RGB lighting around the edges looks way better than the Goliathus (where the lighting felt more limited and segmented). The Strider Chroma is also noticeably more comfortable thanks to the hybrid soft/hard surface, and the slightly bigger size is perfect for a full keyboard + mouse setup. Visually it's stunning. The 19 RGB zones blend beautifully and it really ties the whole desk together.
Now, here's my honest concern: I went through two Goliathus mats and on both of them the lighting died after about a year of use. Bought one, it failed, bought a second one, same exact issue. So I really hope Razer fixed those quality issues with the Strider Chroma and that this one lasts me at least 5 years without any problems.
If the lighting fails within a year like the Goliathus did, I'll come back and drop this to 0 stars, because at this price point that would honestly be a scam. But for now, it deserves the full 5 stars. It's gorgeous, the lighting is incredible, and it feels like a premium product.
